This unique issue features dazzling, diverse, and forward-thinking poetry and prose from a handful of our founding members. The Founder's Issue includes creative non-fiction by James Bennett II, poetry by Attorious Augustin, Evan J. Cutts, India Lena González, Cheswayo Mphanza, and marcus scott williams, fiction pieces by Bronwyn Douman, Ananda Naima González, Zack Graham, and Simeon Marsalis, and a work of translation by Thierry Kehou. Serving as the pre-launch to the official Lampblack Magazine, which will be released in 2022 and include the work of both established and emerging writers within the Black literary community, the Founders' Issue is now available for purchase.

30% of the proceeds from the printing of this issue will be redirected into Lampblack’s Direct Aid Program, and the rest will be used to support the organization's operations in 2022.
